This e-learning has been designed for Community Sponsorship groups who are welcoming a refugee family where there may be an interest in accessing Higher Education. Refugee Education UK who provide expertise on education for the forced migration sector have worked with Reset to create this e-learning focused on supporting refugee students to access Higher Education.
Overview
If you are welcoming a family who may be interested in accessing Higher Education then this e-learning can support you in that journey. Within this e-learning there will be an overview choosing the right university and course, how to apply including
eligibility criteria and information on applying for Student Finance. You will also look into some of the possible challenges and barriers to accessing and thriving at Higher Education in the UK.
How will this course work
This is a self-paced e-learning course that you can complete in your own time.
Who is this course for?
This course is for Community Sponsorship group members who would like to learn more about supporting Refugee Students to access Higher Education.

This e-learning has been designed by Reset with the support of Refugee Education UK who have ample experience supporting those facing forced migration access UK education.

This course is not mandatory – anyone involved in Community Sponsorship can take it to help widen your skills.
In order to complete this course – you’ll need to join our Learnworlds academy and once you’ve registered you’ll be able to access a wealth of resources and other courses.
