Home » Who we are
Reset empowers volunteers to welcome refugees into communities across the UK.
We were set up in 2018 to coordinate the growth of the Community Sponsorship movement across the UK. So far we’ve supported over 300 community groups welcome over 1000 refugees into the UK. We train and support volunteers right across the UK to prepare to welcome refugees and to help them settle and integrate once they arrive. We also work with local authorities and other organisations to support volunteers in making community-led welcome happen. We’ve also embraced other types of community-led welcome, enabling more groups and individuals to directly support refugees to reach safety in the UK.

About Neighbours for Newcomers
Neighbours for Newcomers (N4N) was a joint initiative between Reset and Talent Beyond Boundaries to coordinate a community-led welcome of skilled forcibly displaced people, including refugees. ‘Newcomers’ were candidates of Talent Beyond Boundaries’ Displaced Talent Mobility programme, and came to the UK with Skilled Worker Visas having fled their home countries. Newcomers will be working with employers, mostly NHS Trusts, across the UK.
